1 Introduction of the venue
このお歌では、時計の音に耳をすませて、その数を数えながら“何時か”を当てるというやりとりが描かれています🕰️✨
おうちの中に、音の鳴る振り子時計があるご家庭は少ないかもしれませんが、
DWEのLet’s Play教材《Where are Chip and Dale?》の中でも、
チップとデールが振り子時計の中に隠れるという楽しいシーンがあります😸
こうした具体的なアイテムやシーンをお子さんに実際に見せてあげることで、
歌の世界がぐんとリアルになり、他の場面でも自然に英語がつながっていきますよ💡
ちなみに《Where are Chip and Dale?》では、
・behind the door（ドアのうしろ）
・under the stairs（階段の下）
・behind the curtain（カーテンのうしろ）
などの表現を使いながら、遊びの中で前置詞が自然に身につく仕掛けになっています🧸🎵

3 コラム ～「ｗhat」ってどう使うの？ ～
🍀「ｗhat」ってどう使うの？
〜疑問詞「what」の使い方をやさしく整理！〜
実は、“What time is it?” のような what を使った疑問文には、いくつかのパターンがあるんです🙀
「何をたずねたいのか？」によって、“what” の使い方も少し変わってくるんですよ🌸
ここでは、疑問代名詞としての使い方と、形容詞的な使い方（＝疑問形容詞）をまとめてご紹介します👇
● What time is it?（今何時？）
→ 疑問詞 what を使った基本の形。
時間や物事について「何？」とたずねるときに使われます⌚
● 疑問代名詞としての what
→ What は「何？」をたずねる疑問代名詞です。
文章の先頭に置かれることが多く、主語の位置にも使えます。
たとえば、
- What is that?（あれは何？）
- What happened?（何が起きたの？）
etc.主語にも目的語にもなる万能な疑問詞なんです💡
● 疑問形容詞としての what
→ 名詞の前に置いて「どんな〜？」「何の〜？」とたずねる形になります。
このとき、“what” は形容詞として働いています。
- What book do you want to read?（どの本を読みたい？）
- What kind of food do you like?（どんな食べ物が好き？）
“what + 名詞” の形で使うと、「どんな〜？」と“範囲を持たない自由な質問”ができるのも特徴です✨
🌼「what」を使うときのコツ🌼
☑「what」は広く・自由に問いかけられる言葉
→ “どれ？”のように選択肢が限られているときは “which” の方がピッタリ！
☑“what”で始まる質問は、お子さんとのやりとりにぴったり🎵
→ What do you see?（何が見える？）
→ What are you doing?（何してるの？）など、日常で自然に使えるフレーズがいっぱい！
おうちの中での遊びや会話の中で、「What’s this?（これなに？）」と問いかけてみたり、
お子さんから「What’s that?」と返ってきたり…。
“what”があるだけで、会話がぐんと広がるきっかけになるんです🌱✨
気づいたときに「What 〜？」で聞いてみる習慣をつけていくと、
お子さんも英語で“たずねる力”を自然に育んでいけますよ💖

日常の会話や遊びの中で、ちょっとだけ意識して声かけを変えるだけで、ぐんと英語が身につきやすくなります✨
💡日常の場面での声かけ例
✅ おもちゃの説明（ぬいぐるみやフィギュアなど）でこんなふうに♪
🐱 This cat loves fish! →（このネコは魚が大好き！）
🐶 He sleeps all day. →（彼は一日中寝てるね）
🦖 The dinosaur lives in the jungle. →（この恐竜はジャングルに住んでいるよ）
三単現って、「主語が三人称・単数・現在」のときに動詞に “s” がつくルール。
でも、ルールとして教えなくても大丈夫！
こうして“英語の時間”を遊びや会話に自然に組み込むことで、無理なく・楽しく身についていくんです🐱✨
お子さんが自然にマネしたくなるような場面やセリフをたくさん見せてあげてくださいね♪
