今回のお歌も前回に引き続きバースデーに関するお歌です🎂
今回は、バースデー・パーティーにお友達を誘って、みんなで楽しく過ごしている場面です😸
このようにDWEの教材はバースデーに関するものをいくつも取り扱っていますよね🌸
やはり「自分事」,「特別感」というものがあると、インプットが良質なものになり、アウトプットをより促すのだと思います。

3 コラム ～ピニャータ🎊って何？~
皆さんは「ピニャータ」というものを知っていますか？
ピニャータは、メキシコや他の中･南米の国でよく使われる人形の形をしたくす玉のようなもので、割ると中から紙吹雪とともにお菓子やおもちゃが出てくる仕掛けとなっています🎊
最近では日本でもお誕生日会やジェンダーリビール・パーティーなどで使われるようになってきました🌸
お祝い事にもぴったりなハッピーなデザインと、みんなで盛り上がることのできるイベント性の高さで、ピニャータは日本でも人気急上昇中なんです🐱
DWEの誕生日のシーンにも出てくるように、おうち英語を実践しているご家庭なら一度は本物のピニャータを経験させてあげたいものですね😊
子供たちが誕生パーティーでピニャータを楽しむ場合、好きなキャラクターや好きなおもちゃの形をしたピニャータを前に置き、主役の子どもが目隠しをして手に棒を持ち、スイカ割りのように割ったりします！！
我が家でもピニャータを手作りしてみました🎊
ゆめに割ってもらったのですが、ゆめもパーティーに来てくれた子供たちもとっても喜んでくれました！
素敵な思い出を作ってあげることができました🐱

4 感嘆文について
今回のお歌の『Birthday,Birthday』でポイントになるのは、「感嘆文」です。
感嘆文とは、感動・驚き・喜び・悲しみなどの感情を強調して表すための英文法です。
感嘆文には、「How」で始まるものと、「What」で始まるものがあり、どちらも訳は「なんて〜なんだろう！」のように話し手・書き手の感動を表します。
文末には通常 “!” （エクスクラメーションマーク、感嘆符）が置かれます！
今回のお歌のキーフレーズは以下のとおりです。
・What a wonderful house this is !
・How wonderful this house is !

DWEの教材には、色んな場面で「感嘆文」が用いられているので、連動するフレーズがたくさん出てきます！
フレーズを連動させながらインプットするということがどういうことかを実感するためにも、ぜひご自身で探してみてください🐱

ここで一つ注意です！
感嘆文には否定文が存在しません.
したがって、例えば「美しくない」という意味の感嘆文は作れません！
×How not beautiful this is!
その理由としては、「感嘆文で表したい“感動”とか“驚き”という感情は、目の前にある事象をそのまま受け入れることで出てくるものだから」なんて言われています🐱

✅驚きや感動を利用して、感情を英語モードにする（ゆめママ）
驚き・感動の場面でママ・パパが英語（感嘆文など）使うと、お子さんは自然に真似をしやすくなります💡
我が家でも、英語脳が作られたと実感したのは「感嘆文」が自然に出てくるようになった時です。
今でも、ゆめが楽しい時や驚いた時にゆめの口から自然に出てくる言語は英語なのですが、これはゆめが英語脳であるためです。
例えば、最近の話ですと、スーパーで買い物中、日本語で話をしていたにも関わらず、“特大プリン🍮”を見つけた時、ゆめはすごく興奮してしまい、「What a giant pudding!」と英語で叫び出し、その後も「バー」っと（私は聞き取れず💦）英語が出ていました。
日本語脳で話している時にも、感情が動いた時に咄嗟に英語が出てくるのは、英語脳が作られている証だなと感じました。
【日常会話での感嘆文の取り入れ方】
🌸 おもちゃを見て → “What a big teddy bear!”（なんて大きなクマさんなの！）
🌸 空を見て → “What a beautiful sky!”（なんて綺麗な空なの！）
🌸 お子さんの絵を見て → “How colorful your picture is!”（なんてカラフルな絵なの！）
🌸 おいしいご飯を食べて → “How delicious this soup is!”（なんておいしいスープなの！）
ママも一緒に楽しくリアクションすることで、感嘆文が自然に出てくるようになりますよ✨
次第に、覚えたものをそのまま出すことから、一つ文章について自分の知っている名詞と入れ替えて話すようになると、子供たちは次々に応用させて英語が出てくるようになります🐱
子供たちは応用の仕方を自然に学んでいるのです。
