今回はDWEのブルーで扱われている《💿【15】Around and Around》の歌詞と該当する《📙BOOK２》の内容を種として、“おうち英語”の学びの芽を育てていきます📝🌱

1 Introduction of the venue

今回のお歌は、ヒューイ・デューイ・ルーイが チップとデールを追いかけ、部屋の中をぐるぐる走り回っている場面です。

このお歌は、追いかけっこをしている場面や、何かがくるくる回る場面で歌うことができます🌸

ゆめは、DWEを始めて半年ほど経った頃、釣り竿の釣り糸がくるくる回る様子を見てこのお歌を歌っていました😸

2 Learn grammar

3 コラム ～比較級①～

このお歌では、『Look! where? Over There!』に引き続き、場所を表す前置詞が登場します。

ここで取り組んでもらいたいものは、「前置詞の深堀り」と、Faster !という「比較級」、繰り返し出てくる「aroundを用いたフレーズ」is.

「around」は、プレイアロングでも「Around the chair」のお歌でも登場していますので、連動させて単語のイメージを深堀り、定着を図ってください🐱

子供たちの脳は、「連動させて単語のイメージを定着させる」という経験を積むと、その経験を活かし、次第にDWEの教材を離れて絵本やYouTubeや映画やアニメを観ながら（もちろん、英語を発語しながら！）、雪だるま式に英語の単語やフレーズのイメージを吸収し定着していくようになっていきます。
まさに日本人が日本語の意味の定着を図る過程と同じですね🌸

This time比較級について解説します

比較級は「形容詞/副詞のer（比較級） than」または「more 形容詞/副詞 than」を使って「～より…」と二つを比べる表現を作る英文法です（このように2つの物を比較するときに、使用する形容詞・副詞に「er」などを付けて形を変えなければいけません。その変化した形の形容詞・副詞を「比較級」と呼びます。）。

このお歌の中では、チップとデールは、どんどん早く走り回っているので、時系列で比較していますね。

比較級を作るには次の３つのパターンがあります。

①語尾にerを付ける

②比較級にしたい語の前にmoreを置く

※「ｍore」は「もっと」とか「～～より」という意味を表す副詞ですね。
BOOK２のミッキーがマジシャンになるシーンでは、
「Cats and cats and more cats!」という表現でも登場していますよね🐱
この場合は、比較して多いというよりも、より多いというニュアンスになるので、thanは必要がないそうです。

③その他（不規則変化）

不規則変化の比較級をまとめておきます。
