今回のお歌は、あちこちに動き回るチップとデールを探し回っているものです。
子どもたちは、いつもどこかを駆け回っていますので、子どもたちを追いかけるのはママにとって日常茶飯事😹
そんな当たり前の日常にこの場面を重ねてみると、場面に合ったお歌の使い方のヒントになりますよ😸

3 コラム ～前置詞①～
今回のお歌では、こちらの前置詞、前置詞句が、繰り返し登場します。
on、on the back of、behind、next to、under

今回のお歌では、特に位置関係をあらわす前置詞（前置詞句）を習得してもらいたいのですが、例えば「on」を辞書で引いてみると、場所の前置詞on、時の前置詞on、関係の前置詞on、根拠・目的の前置詞on、所属の前置詞on、経過・行動の途中の前置詞on、方法・道具の前置詞onなどなど・・・様々な意味が出てきます！
位置を表す前置詞を抑えるといっても、私たちが習ってきた「on : ～の上に」などといった具合で1対1対応で意味で覚えてしまうと、「時間をあらわす前置詞on」が出てきたときに、対応できなくなってしまいます😹
なので、“おうち英語”では、単語の意味を覚えるのではなく、単語の持つイメージを習得できるようにしていきましょう。
お歌を歌いながら、チップとデールの位置関係を指差ししてみたり、おうちの中の机やいすや階段を使って体で表したりするようにすると、子供たちは単語の持つイメージをインプットしていきます🐱
今回のお歌の中には、「後ろ」という意味を表す単語として、「back」と「behind」が出てきますが、どのように使い分けられているのでしょうか？
DWEでは、ZIPPY and ME でも、かくれんぼのシーンで、「behind」が使われているように、「behind」は、「何かの後ろに隠れている」シーンで使われやすい単語です。
一方で、「後ろの方」という意味を表現する際は、「back of〜」というフレーズを使います。
「back of〜」は、「前後に対する後ろの方」、「列の先頭に対しての後方」といったシーンで使われることが多い表現です。
位置関係がはっきりしているものには、「back of〜」を使うんですね🐱

前置詞の習得は、お子さんが得意とする「イメージ記憶」がとても効果があるところです。
ここでのポイントはBOOKの絵をしっかり見て、絵を指でなぞりながら追っていくことis.
単に掛け流しだけで取り組みを済ましてしまうと、ともすると、右から左へ流れてしまい、このあたりの習得が曖昧になっているケースが多く見られます。
BOOKを使うことで、立ち止まってしっかり目で追え、お子さんの理解に資することになりますし、ママとしてもしっかり前置詞を確認しておくと、今後の声掛けにも役立ちますよ🌸
