1 Introduction of the venue
この場面は、「グーフィーのベッド」、「クララベルが食べているインゲン豆」、「デイジーの靴」などの「色」に注目している場面です。
"赤いベッド（a red bed）」、「緑のインゲン豆（green beans）」、「青い靴（blue shoes）」というように、韻を踏んでいるのも注目すべきポイントですね。韻を踏んだ内容については『Pluto’s Song』などでも出てきますよ🐱
子どもたちが英語学習をする際、最初の方で習うものといえばやはり「色」ではないでしょうか？
我が家もよく「色の形容詞＋名詞」の表現を使って、語彙を増やしたり、『I CAN SING A RAINBOW』という歌をゆめと歌っていました🌸

日本語でも『どんな色が好き？』という歌を幼稚園で習ってくるお子さんも多いと思いますが、こちらの動画ではこの歌の英語版を聞くことができます。

3 コラム ～色を使った表現！~
色についてちょっとしたあれこれ
視覚から感じ取れる色は、日本語を介さず直感的に認識できますので、英語のインプットもスムーズにできますよね🌸
色といえば、虹の色は「文化によって数が違う」という話を聞いたことはありますか？
虹の色ははっきり区分けされていないため、文化によっては7色ではなく、6色や5色、または2色とする場合もあるようです。
人間の目で見る虹については、その人の見え方によって色の感じ方は変化するそうです。
いずれにしても複数の色が重なってできている虹の色ですが、複数形の「colors」は、「絵の具」という意味で使われます（DWEのLET’S PLAY!でもcolorsのレッスンがありますよね。）。
「color」という単語には動詞もあり、「（…に）色をつける、色をぬる」、「（髪）をそめる、カラーリングする」、「色づく、赤らむ」という意味で用いられます。
ちなみに、「color」はアメリカ英語の表記で、イギリス英語では「colour」と綴るんだそうです。
DWEでは、アメリカ英語の「color」の綴りが用いられていますね🐱
色を使った慣用句
日本語には、「ブルーな気分」とか「腹黒い」のように、色を使った人間の複雑な心境を表す言葉が存在します。
英語にもこのような感情を表す色を使った言葉があります。
連動の幅を広げるためにも、日本語で面白いなと思った表現は、英語でも同じような表現がないか調べる癖を付けてみてください😸

今回の歌では、前置詞の「in」を落とし込みをします。
『Goofy is sleeping in a red bed』では、単語を変えながら「～ing」や「形容詞＋名詞」を使った表現が繰り返し出てきて、その中で「in」の使い方を習得していきます。
