今回はDWEのブルーで扱われている《💿【27】Knock,Knock,Knock!》の歌詞と該当する《📙BOOK３》の内容を種として、“おうち英語”の学びの芽を育てていきます📝🌱
1 Introduction of the venue
このお歌では、ミッキーのおうちにお友達が次々に遊びに来て、ドアをノックするというシーンが描かれています🚪🎶
“Knock, knock, knock! Where is Mickey?”
と、軽やかなリズムでくり返されるフレーズが楽しくて、子どもたちもすぐに口ずさめる一曲です。
実はこの曲、私にとってもちょっと懐かしい思い出の詰まった一曲なんです😌
娘のゆめがまだ小さかった頃、よくトイレまで後追いしてきた時期がありました。
ドアを閉めて「ふぅ…」とひと息つこうとすると……
🚪 “Knock, knock, knock! Where is mommy?”
と、ドアの向こうからノックされるんです（笑）💦
「トイレくらい、ゆっくり入らせて〜😂」と思う反面、この曲のやりとりが、なぜかほっこり心をほぐしてくれたのを今でも覚えています。
今では、娘も小学二年生。さすがにもうノックはしませんが、ふとトイレのドアを見ながら、
“Knock, knock, knock! Where is mommy?”
と、あの頃のゆめの声を思い出しては、くすっと笑ってしまうほど懐かしい時間になっています😸💖
この曲は、「ただの英語の歌」ではなく、
日常の中にある親子のやりとりの宝物になる、そんな一曲かもしれませんね🌷✨

🍀「Who」ってどう使うの？
〜”Who is knocking?” で使われている、疑問詞「Who」の世界をのぞいてみよう！〜
この曲で出てくるキーフレーズは…
Who is knocking?
（ノックしてるのはだれ？）
このように、“誰か”をたずねるときに使う疑問詞が「who」です✨
疑問詞には、相手に尋ねたいことが“人”や“物”などの名詞のときに使う「疑問代名詞」というグループがあります💡
疑問代名詞には主に以下の3つがあります👇
- who（誰）
- what（何）
- which（どちら）
また、「what」「which」は名詞の前に置いて“どんな～？”“どちらの～？”を表す「疑問形容詞」としても使われます🌷
● who の形と使い方
“who” は基本的には「誰？」をたずねる疑問詞ですが、
文の中での役割（格）によって、以下のように変化します👇

日常の声かけでも、“who”はとっても使いやすい疑問詞♪
たとえば…
- 🚪 Who is at the door?（ドアのところにいるのは誰？）
- 🎁 Who gave you this?（これくれたの、誰だった？）
- 🧸 Who is your best friend?（一番仲良しは誰？）
「だれ？」を知りたい場面って、親子の日常にいっぱいあるんです✨
“Who is knocking?” のように、身近なやりとりの中で自然に使っていくことが大切ですね。

✅玄関で再現する
こちらの歌は再現が簡単な歌の一つですね！
我が家では再現遊びに意識して取り組むようになってからお出かけやお散歩から帰ってきたら玄関ドアを必ずknockするようになりました。
もちろん、
“Knock, knock, knock. Let me in!”
と、歌いながらドアをknockしています。
玄関ドアに加えて、お風呂のドアでやってみるのも音が響いて子どもたちは大盛り上がりです。
2人の子どもたちが順番にお風呂に入っているのですが、お風呂では先に入っている人が中からWho is knocking? Who is at my door? と尋ねることもできるので、入る方迎える方、日によって役割を変えても楽しいかもしれませんね。
0歳のちーくんも3歳のお姉ちゃんいーちゃんの真似をしてバンバン大喜びで叩いています。
再現遊びは「歌のとおりに再現する」だけでなく「場面を変えて、違った場面でも再現することが大切」です。
日常生活で取り入れられるシーンや、シーンの応用で、組み合わせて再現することもできますよ🎵

というように、シーンを自由にアレンジして広げていくと、英語表現の定着がぐんと深まりますね✨
おうちの中に「英語で遊べる場所」がひとつでも増えると、それだけでおうち英語の世界はどんどん広がっていきます🌈
